I'm Jake - a normal guy from South London.I didn’t start with a silver spoon. My background: Comprehensive school, dad’s a builder, mum in a school office. My high-school wouldn't even accept me for A-levels due to my bang-average GCSEs, yet I still flourished.I learned to out-think problems, and apply the right mindsets - and it took me to the army's Sword of Honour, a fully funded Warwick MBA, and a 'Distinctive' performance with promotion at McKinsey. Now I teach the same career-compounding skills so you, and your work, can stand out too.

About Me

I didn’t grow up expecting to build a six-figure career. I went to a state school, did a BTEC at college, and didn’t start my first degree until I was 26 - studying part-time by distance while working full-time.Nothing about my path looked “elite.”But I kept showing up and figuring things out. That mindset took me into the British Army, where I learned how to solve problems under pressure, and stay calm when others weren’t. Those skills helped me rise to the top of my peer group - and eventually opened the door to McKinsey, and a fully funded MBA.None of that happened because I had the perfect background or the right network. It happened because I built a small set of practical, transferable skills that quietly power high-impact, high-earning careers. Now I help everyday professionals do the same.If you’re ambitious, willing to learn, and want a career that feels exciting and meaningful, I’ll teach you the clarity, structure, and skills to get there - no matter where you’re starting.
